🆚 INLAND vs. OUTLAND – Khác biệt là gì?

✅ HỒ SƠ BẢO LÃNH VỢ/CHỒNG - INLAND (TRONG CANADA)

🔹Bước 1: Kiểm tra điều kiện

• Người bảo lãnh (Sponsor) phải:

  • Là công dân hoặc thường trú nhân Canada.

  • Trên 18 tuổi.

  • Không đang nhận trợ cấp xã hội (trừ lý do y tế).

  • Không phạm tội nghiêm trọng hoặc bị cấm bảo lãnh trước đó.

• Người được bảo lãnh (Applicant) phải:

  • Đang ở Canada hợp pháp (visitor, worker, student...).

  • Không bị lệnh trục xuất.

  • Không có tiền án nghiêm trọng.

🔹Bước 2: Chuẩn bị hồ sơ

Gói hồ sơ bao gồm:

1. Các mẫu đơn chính:

• IMM 1344: Application to Sponsor

• IMM 5532: Relationship Questionnaire

• IMM 5406: Additional Family Information

• IMM 5669: Schedule A – Background

• IMM 0008: Generic Application for Permanent Residence

• IMM 5476 (nếu có luật sư/đại diện)

2. Giấy tờ hỗ trợ mối quan hệ:

• Giấy đăng ký kết hôn (hoặc bằng chứng sống chung nếu common-law).

• Hình ảnh chung, thư tay, tin nhắn, lịch sử gọi video, v.v.

• Bằng chứng sống chung (hợp đồng thuê nhà, bill, tài khoản ngân hàng chung...).

3. Giấy tờ cá nhân:

• Hộ chiếu, CMND/CCCD.

• Giấy khai sinh.

• Giấy tờ di trú hiện tại (visa, work/study permit...).

• Ảnh thẻ (theo chuẩn IRCC).

🔹Bước 3: Đóng phí

• Phí bảo lãnh: CAN$1,080

  • $75 (phí bảo lãnh)

  • $515 (Right of Permanent Residence)

  • $570 (phí xử lý hồ sơ người được bảo lãnh)

• Nếu xin Open Work Permit: thêm CAN$255

🔹Bước 4: Nộp hồ sơ

• Nộp online tại cổng PR Portal:

  • https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/application/account.html

Hoặc (nếu vẫn còn được chấp nhận): gửi giấy đến địa chỉ IRCC dành cho Inland Sponsorship.

🔹Bước 5: Nộp Open Work Permit (nếu muốn)

• Nộp đồng thời với gói PR (sử dụng form IMM 5710).

• Người được bảo lãnh sẽ được phép làm việc trong thời gian chờ hồ sơ PR (rất hữu ích cho vợ/chồng muốn đi làm ngay).

🔹Bước 6: Kiểm tra & bổ sung hồ sơ (nếu được yêu cầu)

• IRCC sẽ gửi yêu cầu:

  • Khám sức khỏe (IME).

  • Lý lịch tư pháp (Police Certificate).

  • Sinh trắc học (Biometrics).

🔹Bước 7: Quyết định & nhận PR

• Nếu được chấp thuận, IRCC sẽ:

  • Gửi yêu cầu gửi ảnh & địa chỉ.

  • Cấp eCOPR (Confirmation of PR).

  • Gửi thẻ PR qua đường bưu điện trong vòng vài tuần.

🌟 Lưu ý đặc biệt khi nộp Inland:

• Không nên rời khỏi Canada trong lúc hồ sơ đang xử lý — có thể bị từ chối hoặc không thể quay lại.

• Nếu có rủi ro cần đi nước ngoài, nên chọn Outland hoặc tư vấn kỹ.

✅ Steps to Apply for Spousal Sponsorship – Inland Route

Step 1: Make Sure You’re Eligible

Sponsor must:

• Be a Canadian citizen or permanent resident

• Be 18 or older

• Not be receiving social assistance (except for disability)

• Have no serious criminal convictions or prior sponsorship bans

Applicant must:

• Be living in Canada legally (visitor, student, worker, etc.)

• Not be under a removal order or inadmissible

• Be in a genuine relationship with the sponsor (married or common-law)

Step 2: Gather Documents

You will need:

Step 3: Pay the Fees

Step 4: Submit the Application

• Online is now the preferred method:

  • Use the PR Portal to create an account and submit all forms/documents

  • Upload PDFs, photos, and supporting docs

Step 5: Apply for an Open Work Permit (Optional)

• Submit IMM 5710 with the PR package or shortly after

• Allows the applicant to work legally in Canada while waiting

• Usually processed in 5–6 months

Step 6: Wait for IRCC Processing Steps

You’ll receive:

• Acknowledgment of Receipt (AOR)

• Biometrics Request (if applicable)

• Medical Exam instructions

• Police Certificate requests (if needed)

👉 Always respond to requests quickly and completely.

Step 7: Final Decision & Confirmation of PR

Once approved:

• You will receive a COPR (Confirmation of Permanent Residence)

• A PR card will be mailed within a few weeks

💡 Special Notes for Inland Applicants:

• Avoid leaving Canada while the Inland application is being processed unless it’s an emergency (can jeopardize your application).

• Inland sponsorship applicants cannot appeal a refusal — so make sure your application is solid.

• If travel is necessary or long separation is expected, Outland may be a safer option
